Better late for MerMay than never ....
Back around mid '91 HB brought me in on the new Fish Police series to do expression sheets, poster design, and then models for the episodes. Episode 3 was "Beauty's Only Fin Deep" and was set during a beauty contest ...so i was paid to draw lots of fish babes for a week or so. While lots of times the animation biz sucks, once in a while it could be stupid fun.
These are my colours for her (done in Aug '12), not the studio's, which were sort of orange and magenta. The character only shows up in this outfit for one scene lasting a second or two : youtube :

Finishing touches (pun - groan) - yesterday in Krita - skin colour, face colour, little fishes ...er, fixes
- i'll be posting some old art for the next couple weeks (art that was nearly finished years ago and just needs some small finishing-up) as i'm taking it easy while recovering from health issues. i'm sure i'll eventually do a more elaborate colouring of this, but i think this fairly simple version looks cool.

i literally have many many boxes of old animation biz stuff - most of which isn't worth posting or even saving. Of the fun stuff, some i can share and some maybe not - series development art, etc ... and i don't want to post plain model sheets - i'd rather colour the good stuff - so more pics from this episode will get posted eventually - as well as more Red from Droopy, Redwall, Sabrina, maybe even some She-ra & Masters Of The Universe (the original series), etc etc
