Not that long ago I was wandering through a nearby 5Below I stumbled across a light box in the art section for about $5. Of course I purchased it on the spot. It's basically just a plexi sandwich around LEDs. Charges off a micro USB, not included of course. It's just big enough for something slightly bigger than typing paper, close match to most of the sketchbooks I carry. Works pretty well for something that costs less than $50 like most small light boxes do. Here's my first use of it for inking, as expected it's a bit of a different experience from my usual "inking over pencils" technique.
