I kind of like the top she's wearing in the original one, even if it is less accurate to the official design. Her face is definitely improved in this new version, I would argue even better than the official design. See now when Sega tries new designs, like what they did in Sonic Boom or the original version of the movie design, they shouldn't try anything radically different and off looking. They should try something like this (the face and hair) making sure the character stays very true to the original design and only make minor improvements that actually make the character look better, not just pointlessly different with more detail. The only thing I would suggest is giving her lipstick on her bottom lip.
