Here is a really neat moth I found outside a day or so ago.
It's a tobacco hornworm moth.

It felt quite hefty.

The only unfortunate thing about this moth is the fact that it is going to probably lay more eggs that will turn to little larvae that will eat my potato plants.

The caterpillars usually like to eat any sort of plant in the nightshade family. I'll try to deter them by planting marigolds around the area.
