And now, here’s Link the wolf, one of my first original characters I created two decades ago:
Born in a forest village, who’s name and location it’s forbidden to be known by outsiders, Link comes from a family who are masters in alchemy, as each pup was given special powers to use them for good.
Being in a forest village whose presence’s invisible to the eyes of outsiders, to protect their people from evil forces out there, allowing all residents to live a peaceful life for centuries, however, some residents are allowed to leave if they have reasons that must be justified, with the promise that the identity of the village must not be revealed to anyone, and if they wish to return, they can, as long as nobody follow it.
After studying the academy and learn how to be a well-prepared wolf, Link wanted to explore the outside World and meet other people outside of the forest. After growing up and ask permission to his parents, he was allowed to leave, as long as he keeps the promise to never let anyone know the village’s existence, and so, his adventures in the outside World begun, where he met a lot of new friends, found a place to live there, and also meeting his love; a female wolf named Zelda.
After meeting her, they later marry a few years ago and give birth to their first son Alex, becoming the head of the family. Keeping the promise, the family got Link’s trust in knowing where did he came from, knowing more about his people and be one of them.
Easygoing and friendly wolf he is, always loyal, humble, responsible, kind and brave, not to mention, he's also very attractive, which results to be a show-off most of the time.
For years, he was always confused by many because of his name, everyone thought he's the famous Link from the Legend of Zelda franchise who became a wolf upon entering the Twilight realm before meeting Midna, but it was never a big concern for him, and never dare to abuse that confusion for greedy purposes, because he has a big respect on the original hero, not to mention, he's also a big fan of the franchise.
He's a powerful mage, using his magic for good, to keep himself safe, as well as for the people he loves and his family.
Link has obtained the power to the summon the elements whenever he needs to. But he has also learned other skills, becoming a handyman, which help him build a home for him and his family.
Link's also great in motivating and being the voice of reason, whenever he sees someone who doubts of itself and refuses to go on with its life, Link uses his knowledge to let them know to always keep going, he's also persistent if it's necessary.
And the best part of all, it's that he's a great father figure, which his son Alex' so proud to be his son, and would do anything to follow his footsteps, something that fills Link's heart with pure happiness to see his family following him.
And with that, there you have it, Link the wolf, the first character I created, and so, that’s how my magical World was born, all because of him!
