Production Status and Description:
The Dawson-class was designed alongside the Joplin due to the Joplin not being equipped with an internal hangar-bay. In comparison the Dawson is less combat-effective individually then the Joplin however still carries far more firepower then the Corona, the more damaging weapons focused on the front for long-range support against stronger targets as the Dawson is meant to stay on the rear line. The ship has considerably more communications equipment then the Joplin and Corona combined in rider to coordinate fleet and fighter offensives to perfect proficiency. Along with this, for its size it holds one of the largest Carrier bays for ships in Eternitos since the creation of the Ton-Falk, being able to Carrier snub fighters in the hundreds due to its slingloaded hangar system. The ship on the outside uses the near same hull as the Joplin whereas on the inside it is near perfectly dedicated fully to carrying capacity. In battle it performs worse then the Joplin and is still easily outmatched by modern vessels however it is still popular for its cheap design and easy versatility causing many captains to use the ship as flagship for their fleets. It- still has no Ioncannons.
