Those are called Sackboys/girls if that's what you meant by "avatar (???)".

Also, I already asked that question before, about getting pictures from the PS3. As far as I know, the best way would be with a capturing device, which are expensive (I don't have one). The next best thing someone told me was to use a camera, with the quality turn up high, and a HD TV and hope for the best.

On the other hand, I dunno about Soulcaliber, but LittleBigPlanet has that photo tool. After taking a in game picture, find it in your pop-it and press triangle (if I remember correctly). In that part, there should be a way to save the pic on your HDD. From there you should be able to use a USB memory stick and bring it to your computer. Hope that helps.

and yeah, i did the latter, it looks awful.

i have a capture device, but can't make it work and it would be NTSC quality anyway, not HD.... it makes me sad.

im going to have to research the photo tool in lbp, my sister (the one obsessed with the game) says "no" but i think it requres more research
