I've been getting back into it again too, it's a struggle but knowing that I'm learning more as I go really helps me in the moment when I feel discouraged. I hope to learn as much as you! I gotta polish my skills more so I don't get so rusty. I'm just so used to traditional pencil-paper drawing that going digital is a very slow and difficult change, but worth it! I'm still kind of finding a balance between traditional and digital.
I understand, that's a hard switch because they feel very different. surface wise, that requires different muscle memory. a tablet is slippery, imo you get more control of lines and strokes in traditional art. And color is a very different aproach too. I hope you can make the time to practice more and have fun with art !
