Turns out that when legends told of a time when Raccoomon were able to grow to enormous size, Raccoodramon just might be what the ancients meant. Raccoodramon is far more protective than his previous Evolution. Raccoodramon will not stop until either the threat is destroyed or deleted trying. Which is not easy to do as Raccoodramon's hide is not only incredibly durable, but elastic. He attacks by drawing in a large amount of air to blast away his opponents in one big burst.

You know it's funny how Evolution and Digivolution are basically just transformations. Anyway, I never officially revealed Racoomon's evolution before today. I've always had this guy planned, but (stupid writer's block) couldn't get to the part of the story where he'd be revealed.
One aspect that I Explicitly designed for Raccodramon was him having a similar vibe to a certain protagonist's main Digimon, Greymon. Why? Well, let's just say that Raccoomon's Tamer, Cooper Racamaru, has a certain distain for the entire Agumon line. It annoys the heck out of Cooper that his partner has any similarities to the quote "Overhyped Cliched Hack". He tries so hard to be more original. Heck, Zeppelin Break is just a knock-off Wind version of Nova Blast. He's also designed to not be a particularly strong Digimon either. In my story, Digimon are divided up into 5 main "Classes" (named after the classic Kong Fu martial arts). When it comes to Raccoomon's line, he's in the Crane: Defense Class.

Yep, sort of like that. In Cooper's version of Earth Digimon is set long after the original Digidestened's prologue and Digimon are just part of "a game" called Battle On (though there's a big conspiracy behind that too). Anyway, Just like in the real world the most common Digimon around are Agumon's many variants. Adventure, Savors, Black, Toy, Blacktoy, Clear, Snow, X-Antibody, Sensei, fakeSensei.... so on and so forth. Seriously, even back then there were just as many different Agumon variants as there are Pikachu variants today. Despite Cooper actually likes the game of Battle On, he doesn't want to play in fear that he'll wind up being yet another Cliche hero character with an Agumon. His teacher had to force him to take the Digivice that contained the Digimon who would soon become Raccoomon. (Digivolution also works sort of like in IRL's game, it depends upon how you raise them.)
Fact is the only reason I wrote Digimon: Raiders was to get back at someone who called my Pokémon fanfiction "Cliche". I quote "wanted to show him what Cliche really looks like", right down to Leomon dying a heroic death. Though, I didn't quite get to that part yet.

I don't blame ya. If you think the Pokemon Timeline is screwy, you can imagine how fans like me were confused when Tamers came around. Especially since one of the teachers had the same voice actress as Kari and in the Epilogue (02) she wanted to be a school teacher.
