What I love to do is have art (the synths) imitate life (biological species). So I'm glad that that shows! And practicality is never the end goal, as then we end up with a concept called "form follows function" which will remove 99% of the cool/sexy factor. And with art the end goal is always to have something nice to gander at. Preferably longer than a split second as with some of the NSFW on this site.
