You need to appreciate the times when things are calm, the storm wanes to nearly a little murmur. Life is full of noise, full of discord, and constantly throwing tough situations. Big and small, they can either pile up to take us down, or serve as the building blocks to make us who we are.
Little moments like these where your love sits on your lap, the two of you staring into each others' glistening eyes and reassuring that there is good and calm out there can take the weight of of life off your shoulders for but a second. Maybe even for longer if you allow the moment to flow as it needs to, but you cannot pursue these with the intention of forcing them. They happen, and as sparce as they may seem, they are short but full of genuine, and make a tremendous escape from life.

Cherish those around you, put the little trinkets you get from places you go in a box and store them for future ogles. Don't forget your friends
And don't forget those you love.
