Indeed! I've seen a Few of his Attempts from long before even I discovered this Lovely new world, but Each one of his attempts Failed and have been abandoned Since! I've even seen some impostors Who's Dared Impose them selves as ME!! >8I( However they have all failed as well! >BI)
Was, Is and forever WILL Be Superemely Awesome! >BI) Sega Decided to replace me with that Fetid Dr Eggman because in their world of Japan, Ever since i first appeared they Always called me Eggman behind me Back! >BI( And in the Comics, they Eventually killed me off and had Dr Eggman replace me there as well! DIX< Just so you understand He and I ARE NOT the same person, in the comic He first entered My dimension known as Robo-Robotnik, a Metallic Robotic Versions of my SatAm self! He tried to fight Me but failed and went back to his world. When i was "Killed" he came back and tried to say he was me, but sonic soon found out he was a Robot. He was later nearly destroyed and had to rebuild a new Robotic Body then De Robotisize him self, and from that point on he became known as Dr Eggman as he is now a days! >BI(

well, i have studied up on this as well, and Sadly it didn't remain forever! >BI( He eventually Realized that he's always failed ever since he gave up his true name, Robotnik and began calling him Self Dr. Eggman! Thus he's still starred in all the Newer Games even to this very Day! DIX<

To some degree you Are correct! >8I) However, that "Classic" look, was once My very First appearance, where as Dr. Eggman's newer design, was supposed to be an Upgrade to my "SatAm" look and meant to resemble our "Past" look! >XID
In Japan, they've Always referred to me as Dr. "Eggman", where as when i first came to America, they called my Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Changed my looks. So in Japan, they merely "Upgraded" their version of my Original look, and created this New Eggman's design, is this all clear or am i repeating myself! >8I)

Well, in all honesty, in the Archie comics, Dr. Eggman or 'Robo-robotnik' if you will, isn't actually doing too bad a job at trying to conquer Mobius, is he? Anyway, both you and him have had 'endgame' scenarioes, haven't you? Although, then again, Knuckles, Amy and Tails were around to help him get back the other mobians, but, in all honesty, it WAS Snively who failed to see them and teleport them to the egg grape chambers, right

Of course i read what you have to say! To be more specific sine i am now some how obligated to be,
1.) NO! Dr. Eggman hasn't been nearly as successful as i have ever been at Conquering my mobius, he hasn't always been to horrible, but he excels in his failures than he does at success rates. Over all he is quite often 50% successful with a higher tendency to fail.
2.) Yes, We've both have had our crippling times of despair, where we have been both nearly defeated, or in some cases, such as myself, completely overcome to the point of obliteration. However, Dr. Eggman has unfortunately yet to reach this breaking point in his horrid Career as tyrant, and has only merely come Close to destruction, only to be revived shortly after. The worst of his near downfalls, would have been when sonic finally drove him to the point of utter madness and insanity, leaving him temporarily confused of his own identify and in his mind reliving ALL of his failures at once! Until he soon finally realized that his True failures really began when he assumed the identity of Dr. "Eggman" and no longer Robotnik. At that time, he then regained all sanity and logic, and declared that he would continue to be "Referred to" as Dr. Eggman, only to continue to Represent his already established "Eggman Empire" but to his close comrades and foes, he would once go by his true name which is Robotnik! >8Io
3.) Now then, on this Final question i for once, actually have no personal knowledge of that situation and so i unfortunately can not clarify in some depth as to just what Eggs-Actly happened to them Or that Treacherous Snively! >8I(

by the by, I found out the difference between "eggman" and "robotnik"...eggman was how Sonic and co. nicknamed Robotnik, obviouslly mocking his...slightly....stout physique ^^ so basically, "Doctor Ivo "eggman" robotnik" with the "" in the "eggman" since Sega made it his epithet.
But you know, the Sonic X's design for Robotnik is officially the original since it was done by Sega designers, including in the games =P (and I kinda liked the anime since it had a more serious plot compared to the american cartoons)
