So I have recently started playing Pathfinder 1st edition again, which I've really come to appreciate after playing 5th edition for so long. Don't get me wrong, Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition is a simpler and more fast pace version when compared to the older editions, plus it is great for making homebrew for. However, the reason it has so much homebrew is because it is a mere shadow of its former self compared to 3rd edition and the editions before that. You kinda need homebrew to fill in the gaps, as your customization options in 5E are very poor, and more often than not two wizards will play in exactly the same manner.
That is why I love Pathfinder 1st edition, as it is basically an improvement of Dungeons & Dragons 3.5th edition, which in itself was an improvement of the 3rd edition. While Gary Gygax did not create 3rd edition, it did greatly respect the source material, and they often asked him for advice. 5th edition did keep that spirit alive (that is, up until they started to fear the twitter mob and started removing race bound ability score increases....), but if you really want to have the full experience that Gary Gygax intended while using the most customization options, then Pathfinder 1st edition truly is the way to go!
Because I created the Catfolk for 5th edition, which I will be posting next week, I decided to look at the catfolk which Paizo implemented in Pathfinder 1st edition as well. I wanted to go with a more human looking version, as that was once added in the old 3.5 D&D archives on the WoTC website (before they removed it...), and decided to make some minor tweaks to the existing Catfolk racial traits and alternate traits, while adding the lore of this variant Catfolk. Here is a link to the PDF: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hx.....ZgceJuhsI/view
I thought I'd make this for the fans of Miqo'te, or catgirls / catboys in general. And because I was hoping to play one in my new Pathfinder campaign (which I was super lucky to get into!). Hope there are still fans of Pathfinder 1st edition, or Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition, which have a use for this :)

I really did hate that. They also tried to act like the race ability score mods were only for PCs anyways despite the DMG clearly providing a table of racial mods specificaly for npc creation and swapping npc statblocks between races.
They don't want to deal with the newly sprung up taboo against saying different species are built different despite like... still retaining stuff like that through natural attacks, racial abilities, and what not. They spur the idea that there could be any sort of tendancy in stats but like you wouldn't try to argue that with anything else.

Problem is, is that you can't argue with these people. No matter what kinds of logical points you make, their narcissistic minds won't allow them to be wrong. They will simply demonize you and call you a -phobe or -ish so that they don't have to worry about taking your arguments into account, much easier that way for them.
What is scary is that these people then are able to vote, and often vote for policies which don't directly affect them but still have negative long term consequences. And not even that, even in their immediate surroundings. Twitter, which Elon Musk has to clean house, was infested with self proclaimed communists who only had to work a few days a week and had everything handed to them thanks to capitalism, while simultaneously banning anyone they disagreed with politically online. And we are not even talking about the Manchester bomber who was not arrested in time by security, despite acting suspicious, because the guards were afraid of being called racist and get fired. If you don't oppose these kinds of people in the early stages, the consequences will always be disastrous.

Same :) I’m just glad that Pathfinder 1 ended before the Twitter crowd could get their hands on it. On one hand it is a pity that it is no longer continued, as it is closer to the original view Gary Gygax had (it is an improved 3.5 Dungeons & Dragons), on the other hand there are a lot of great adventure paths I still have to try out, and other dedicated fans such as yourself :)
Also, I’m quite proud of this myself, a “unchained ninja” and spellcasting archetype for the ninja: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47835463/
