Velonia is the last remaining member and ex chief of a clan of ocean dwelling denizens. Undone by heavy amounts of fishing making food sources incredibly scarce, the remaining members of the village elected to give themselves to Chief Velonia in hopes of keeping their legacy alive.

Eventually, she began to resort to coming to the surface to feed, consuming fishermen and anyone unfortunate enough to cross paths with her during her hunts. While not her favorite pass time, it did earn her the designation of "Pereo Draconis" or; The Starving Dragon by several sources.

After many years of barely living among the ruins of her Village, all of her above water hunting had caused small changes in how her body functioned..and deciding to leave the past behind, she decided to forge a new life on the surface. A hundred years pass and she is now an awkwardly integrated member of society (culture shock is rough when the ways of your living are several hundreds of years in the past)

Miss Draconis has several traits that help her both in the wild and out and about in every day life. Her body in incredibly absorbent, able to soak up plenty of water to keep herself hydrated for extreme lengths of time, upwards of a week without need of a source of water. (This can backfire as if she isn't careful nowadays, fresh water sources can easily all end up inside her extremely malleable and stretchy form, leading to some...swollen shenanigans)

She excretes a very thin but slimy mucous that exudes pheromones, that acts as both an aphrodisiac to several species, including humanoids, and also a sleep inducer to make catching prey like fish an absolute cakewalk.
High exposure has been linked to people ending up in coma like states for upwards of 4 to 5 days, with no detrimental effects lingering afterwards.

She also has the ability to utilize both an incredibly deadly venom derived from years of consuming box jellyfish and the Portuguese Man O' war, using micro sized barbs that are located on her forelimbs. While she rarely uses this, it serves as a powerful defense weapon for whenever she is in true danger.

Velonia also can put out a powerful digestive enzyme through her body's mucous, which can act as a very strong skin irritant in cases of quick exposure, severe burns in a minute, and full actual digestion for prolonged periods of time.

Behind the curtains, while she may look regal, she is actually extremely laid back, and in fact extremely affectionate. She can be a bit of a lazy lump at times, laying on a couch with several bags of snacks and binge watching human TV because she "finds it so gosh darn fascinating"

All in all, Miss Velonia, while she may seem intimidating with her size and physical capabilites, is more than capable of being someone you can trust and rely on....if she takes a fancy to ya~
