I have no explanation for the title beyond the color, and it being a line from a Christian Death song that was playing/and in my head at the time of scribbling this one.
Experiment two with grey markers on heavy, textured colored paper, this time, I wanted to play with dark, dark is always so delightful. Needless to say, it's very dark. The original has a very groovy look imho, and is really quite easy to see. This time, only really bothered with any lines on the foreground figure, rest was very much "painted" with the markers, took less than an hour. This pleases me.
It's better to -not- explain the picture, what with it technically falling under the "Dune fanart" category. . . but it does manifest the greivous sin of being fanart which includes a damn original character, the bald guy in the foreground. =P I can't help it that he's fun to RP, and was the subject that came to mind.

Thanks for the comment! I've been having a lot of fun playing with this style, it's more, drawing -out- the light from the darknesses than anything else. . . I've been thinking that there's tons of potential for strange, vague, ominous backgrounds, shapes in the mist, and such fun. =D So I'm sure I'll be playing a lot more with it.
