This is about a million times excellent my good foxy sir! It came out wonderful! I like the adventurous direction you drove it into. My favourite part is probably the chained lantern, though that patched up balloon and the inclusion of his tools comes very close! Pretty subtle usage of the mysterious atmosphere theme, and I do like subtle. I think this is one of your best pictures to date, so of course I'm glad it's my commission. *Laughs.*

Ha! I'm very, very glad that you like the details! :D I spent some time on them, but hey, I like to draw that kind of stuff- you have to look at the painting for a while to see every thing included on it :3
I had to draw balloon so close to the airship, because I just wanted to include it on the painting! :D And it's pretty small airship (more like... airboat XD), but airships for one person are awesome ;3 (it would be cool to have a real one-person airship, I could spend my life on it ;) )

Well I'm glad you included the balloon, it's an excellent part of the balance of composition and all that professional artistic sort of nonsense. Actually it's just lovely, and that's what matters. It is a rather fancy dream isn't it? To have one's own airship! Pretty much the driving force in my own thoughts.. your picture fits in splendidly, thank you again.
Oh, and I look forward to seeing the colour details in person. Though I haven't thought of where to hang it! Goodness, it has to be somewhere suitable. :3
