Alita's original planet is irradiated by 4 (5) different suns: Azurian lifeforms are very well-adapted to use solar energy,
but they can't survive as well on a colder planet.
It's the case of Alita on Amkarya, where there isn't enough energy for her to live comfortably.
So, Fyre gifted her a crown of compressed stars to supplement her diet.
