Every now and then, I come across a drawing idea that really gets to me. An idea that I am thrilled to work on, with a character whose design I really enjoy, and that caters to some of my "strengths". This drawing was one of them, and it was an absolute delight to work on it. I don't say this to please, as I mean this in earnest.
Looking at it now, I think the armour could've looked a bit better, the background is rather uninspired (and lifted directly from an in-game screenshot I took of Dark Souls 3), and her left wing is posed a bit weird. But otherwise, this was awesome to work on, I had a great time, and it's one of my favorite drawings I've done this year. This one is definitely making it into the art compilation at the end of 2022.
