I really like that shadow shading style. It adds a slight seriousness to the comical situation. ^^

I like the new style that you have come up with. My only concern is that the type of shading could be used instead in a darker environment. I mean, if the image looked like a night time image, or had a black background, still keeping the partial gray background, it would look even better, and more fitting. I'm not saying don't use this style, but the style just does not exactly fit the white background. This is just all my opinion, and sort of critique. I am glad that you found this new style, but the shading just seems a bit too strong for a white backgrounded image. The rest looks great, as usual. But I would love to see you try out your new style in a darker environment X3
