Promare was such a good movie. All the quirkiness and fun of a studio trigger series rolled into a single movie complete withe the out of left field where did that come from part with the appearance of the ship/mech they use to fight back against the antagonist.

Promare is an amazing movie and honestly, I would love it if TRIGGER did a series since that world has so much more potential and adventures

I haven't had time to watch it myself, but I believe there is a short series called "Lio-hen" that shows the events leading up to Promare from Lio's perspective.

Really?(goes looking for it on HBOMAX) Yeah I’ve seen it multiple times already and I’m able to pick out all of the little Easter eggs from some of TRIGGER’s past works. Like the biggest Easter Egg in Promare is all of the Gurren Lagann references. Some Kill La Kill too.
