Dinosaur Great War Izenborg No39 - Magmadon and Kirasauru...
I give you Magmadon(s) and Kirasaurus were the final Kaiju of Dinosaur Great War Izenborg episode 39 – "Goodbye Izenborg" – been the 57th and 58th in the Roster's order of Monster Appearances.
_Bio and Abilities_
Magmadon(s) is a Rock base Alien Kaiju and seven members of the species were seeing in the final episode, provoking Eruptions around (presumably) Mount Fuji. Quite Cheaply – if I may add – the Seven individuals of the species were differentiated from one and the other by the amount of horns on top of the head; raging literally from 1 to 7 in number, and were referred numerically as such. Magmadons 1 to 3 were killed in the progress of the episode - the first two by Team Izenborg and the Third by Golda, while 4 to 7 did not join the final battle, doing their job, and thus survived, with one of the individuals spotted cheerfully with the other Kaiju after the final battle. The Magmadons could cause eruptions and other geological instabilities and, as seen with the 3rd individual at least, could release an energy attack from the horns – this was likely some sort of Electromagnetic discharge, as Izenborg detects Magmadon 2 via these waves.
Kirasaurus was a Kaiju who appears to provide assistance in the final Battle, facing Aizenborg, but was dispatch quickly by it. Its abilities were only Physical combat, but could spew fire from the mouth. The suit was a likely re-design and re-color from Black Maria's, as it had the claw for hands, stubby tail with spikes and spikes on the snout, but lacking her long curve horn in the head and possessing Tendrils around its neck.
_Story_
Reeling with pain and Anger for the lose of his wife, Zobina, Grottes unleashes the final assault on the surface world by sending Seven Individual Magmadons; The Beasts come down as meteors and begin to unleashed the wrath of their master by provoking Volcanic Eruptions around (presumably) Mount Fuji chain. As D-Force looks at the developing situation, Grottes sends them a communication, seeking their destruction as revenge for Zobina's death.
Izenborg is deploy against the threat and face the first Magmadon: the encounter is brief and the Monster is Dispatch by Freezing it with IzenOne's Freeze beam and IzenTwo's Missiles. As more activity is detected in the region, indicating the presence of more Kaiju, they continue their exploration by following electromagnetic readings when they stumble upon a 2nd Magmadon – the Battle is a repeat of the First Magmadon and the Beast is dispatch quickly in the same matter.
As the geological activity worsens, the Izenborg encounter Musashi who guides them to the entrance of the underground Dinosaur Empire, blasting the side of a mountain and breaching the Underground World. The heroes encounter Grottes and a Third Magmadon, but Musashi intervenes and sends Golda to fight it. In that moment, Kirasaurus appears from behind Izenborg, which the units take on; the beast takes down IzenTwo with its fire breath while dealing with IzenOne's weapon's barrage. As Golda takes the 3rd Magmadon out with its Gold Beam, Ai and Zen do their cross and then combine into Aizenborg: it and Golda Team up and fight Kirasaurus, and Aizenborg beats it then tosses it up in the air and the beast explodes ... because it was apparently allergic to heights, or the Ground ceiling of the Empire, or something.
The Duo then turns to Grottes, ordering the remaining Magmadon to continue their task while the Invader faces the heroes and he takes them own without any problem. When Aizenborg goes down, Grottes grabs a giant Boulder to crush the humanoid, but Golda appears and catches the rock for it, its body been crushed, been killed in the process. Trying to avenge his comrade, Aizenborg tries to strike down Grottes with its Katana, but the same situation happens again, where these have no effect – Musashi intervenes and tries to block Grottes' Reviving medallion from activating, asking Aizenborg to strike it; accepting what needed to be done, Aizenborg throws an energy attack on to it and Grottes goes up in flames, this time killing him for good.
Musashi is tossed and mortally wounded by his fall when the D-Force members find him; the team thanks him and Golda for their help and Musashi passes away. After his burial, D-Force sees the Kaiju cheerfully celebrating their freedom from Grottes – among them a 2nd Saberan, a 2nd Black Gamma, another Shadow like Ankylosaur and one of the Magmadon. D-Force leaves the Underground world and blocks the entrance with missiles so the monsters are never disturbed by the surface world to live in peace.
After the final mission, Ai and Zen leave a note to Torii, Barra and Ippei, and depart from Earth on a rocket to explore Space (for some reason), thus bringing Dinosaur Great War Izenborg, and our Kaiju Roster to an end.
