Here we have the 6th house of the Zodiac, Virgo the Maiden. "But Kevin!", I hear you cry, "That's not an anthropomorphic animal! That's not an anthropomorphic animal at all!" No, she's not, well observed. This is, shockingly, intentional. Half of the Western Zodiac is comprised of obvious animals, while the other half is either half-animal, or allows for a good deal of creative license.
As for me, and for now, I've drawn Virgo the Maiden as a maiden, whom actually looks like a doll. She is, actually, wearing a mask, and not just a mask, but all of her body (accept for his hair) is obstructed from view to remain pure. Why is her hair not covered, even though such fundamentalist religions denote the hair as a sexual part of the body? Because I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool if Virgo, whom is known for organization and structure, had such control of her own body that her hair actually acted as a limb. Awesome, non?
She wields a lantern on a tall, branch-like staff, as the weapon I've assigned to Virgo is the wand/rod/staff, etc., some magical item that is phallic in appearance.

Kidding of course :P, it's always fun seeing humans and stuff on here, to the piece itself, it's quite an interesting design of the staff, especially how it sprouts repeatedly out of itself, interesting too with the use of a full body mask, keep up the good work man, you're almost complete on this project :D

I was going for a wood for plant-like element for Virgo, it just seemed appropriate. Keeping in theme with my perception of magic, where knowledge itself is power, to have the exact image of Virgo known to anyone would sully her in some way, so it must be kept secret.

...That is one of the most intriguing and thought-out designs I've ever seen. Absolutely awesome bro! I especially like your notion that in order to maintain her purity she has to be completely concealed...and the tension you create by having her hair not only be uncovered but phallic (tentacle rape!) while her weapon is also phallic. Ha! And by the way, there's nothing wrong with humans here. :)
That's how I interpreted. Or maybe it's suggesting the idea that female virgins are associated with purity while male virgins are usually mocked and eager to lose their virginity as soon as possible? (The phallic parts are uncovered because the male wants to get right to it. :P )
