I think its saying "Hey, back off or I'll eat you." Does anyone know what kind of lizard this is? I can't go through life assuming that every little brown lizard I see is a female anole after all!

That would be a male anole. You can tell by the red dewlap and the raised crest on his back.

They change colour. :D The anole is the only iguana that can do so.

I've never seen an anole with that kind of crest, though, so I'm guessing he's not a Carolina anole...!

I would add that he's probably a pretty dominant male anole. He's saying "I am BIG and TOUGH and this is MY territory...where are the babes?!" hehe

I had a green anole as my first reptilian pet back when I was 10. Now I have 2 leopard geckos, a dwarf desert iguana, and a green iguana(hes biiig)

Those can be expensive, especially the hybrids(fire dragons, citrus dragons, etc)

Yeah, the dragon itself is $100 or more, plus you have to buy all of its stuff, which is another $100-200

Sure it has! If you full view and follow its eyes down diagonally to the right, it's the little hole in his head
