Well, the site doesn't really have a 'standard', it's all over the map when it comes to artistic merit and delivery. You certainly don't have to worry about anything though! But I bet you weren't worried at all, nah!

I guess it's not that easy to write a song on a cello or a violin, people do like to add them to their compositions though!

Oh no, I mean cello and violin duets are uncommon, you usually find cello/piano violin/piano... solo cello compositions are of course very difficult to compose and require a lot of knowledge of the instrument!

I see, well... no, not really! I do have quite a few in my head that I play when I feel like it, but I am no composer. I have helped a few out in writing for the cello! Don't worry, there are still many pieces in our repertoire.

Oh, I wasn't worried - I imagined at least a few hundred tomes worth of songs. That said, the songs you've written yourself tend to be the best. :3

Not at all, mine are sort of memorized improvisations, they do sound good, but only because of virtuosity over compositional prowess.

I could never improvise in front of a microphone! At least not on purpose, but really, they are nothing. Instead of playing scales and arpeggios I do improvisations in every key that give the same technical exercise but in a more 'musical' manner.

Yea, we're staying there as his 'guests' as it's a big house; it could easily fit ten people! And the birds are pleasant, I think that I will have to arrange my future recordings to be done in the countryside rather than in a studio or concert hall!
