On 19th June 2022, Father's Day, I got a chance to see one of the most legendary, iconic cars of all-time. The one and only McLaren F1.
When this 3-seater first debuted, it was the fastest car on the road. For many years, until the arrival of the Bugatti Veyron, it held the top speed record.
The value of this vehicle has shot up exponentially, to the point that some pristine examples with low mileage could easily fetch as much as $15 to $20 million. When it first went on sale back in 1992, it was roughly $800,000.
Furthermore, this legendary exotic is extremely rare. This F1 represents one of just 62 road versions of the car, and all were sold worldwide. I imagine there's only a handful of them here in the U.S.
This McLaren F1 is the very first one I've seen up close in my entire life. To say I was awe struck upon walking up to it would be an understatement.

Nice to see one not in Silver or Orange for once, That polished green suits it a lot better than I imagined otherwise. Overall sick!
Sadly the McLaren-Koenigsegg near me was closed to appointments only, But me and my bf still saw some wonderful 720s(s) and a few GT's along with some Italian and German stuff outside in the parking lot.
