The art style of that show is just so awesome, and you've done it justice here! nice one. :D

Too bad that cartoon is really bad.

The episodes are hit or miss.¨
Some are just terrible with way to much awkward jap humor. Some are awesomely ridiculous and some are A FUCKING ACTION ORGY and thats the episodes i like.
Also the art style is what mainly attracts me. AND ACTION ORGIES

To me, the style looks way to much like a western cartoon. Sure I shouldn't judge it by the cover but this one really puts me off.
Maybe I should watch another episode, just in case.

Its heavily inspired by cartoon network and Nickolodeon only its done well/better. They basically do what all animes do by selectivley putting more resources into some scenes than others. But they're making it less obvious and with a lot more style. Most scenes where theres mostly dialog they just stylize instead of looping a bustshot of someones mouth going :V for 30 sec.

The scenes that really count stand out. Check out Ep1 Part 2 and Ep6 part 2
They are what makes the cartoon worth watching. Im not a fan of animy generally so i also love that they have a lot of western references in the cartoon.
Its far from the best anime iv seen some episodes are awful but some scenes fucking SHINE.

The decisive segment on whenever you like the show or not is if you tolerate Anarchy Panty or not.

Guns are the ultimate accessory - don't worry about that. I tried watching a few episodes of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt for the same reason that the artstyle is fucking win.. but goddamn - the Gir ripoff is too hard to ignore.

Jhonen Vasquez has seen it and totally is cool with it, so no worries
