Maj. Devourer can be classified as 'asexual', cuz they don't have anything about sexuality. They can't feel 'love' or 'desire' from anyone, and they even don't have any biological sex too.
Devourer were a genetically modified warrior, made by alien invaders for devouring everything disturbing them. so those things had been 'unnecessary' for Devourer's 'creators' at that time.
So exactly, Maj. Devourer's pronoun should be 'they', but everyone call them as 'he' from their apperance. Well, fortunately Maj. Devourer doesn't care much about that.
