As the bright-furred jackal knelt himself within the waters of the clear, blue pool, he struggled not as the darker one wrapped his wrists with golden chains. He felt his arms being pulled to an acute arch as a sudden, heavy throb hit his head, the ancient mumblings of the god behind him reaching into his ears. His eyes burned as if they were as bright as the moon shining above them, a sensation of seeing more than he once did filling his eyes. Lexion's breaths were now slow and deep as the water surrounding his thighs rippled and reflected his image to the god above, who's lime eyes now glowed bright like stars. Energy was leaving the brighter jackal, but at the same time, being fed inside of him. His head ached with deeper knowledge as etchings of ancient tongue flowed into his body and the throbs of his chest synchronized with every pulse of his mind... He became attuned to his surroundings and the mumblings of Ahutoris, his leader, the one he worshipped like Anubis. He felt the power to see the energy of life coursing through his eyes as his body shined blue, accepting, in a new, foreign tongue, the title of "Starlit Guardian", a name befitting of his growing celestial nature. Yes, he was a star -- one to shine light upon the darkness of the world, and bring others to hope and balance... The same balance he now experienced, as he worshipped his new lord and begged for further grace in his image and shadow.
