He looks like a curious personality. Reminds me a bit of what people in anime tend to design their gentleman thieves like (they usually have noble manerisms and try to look very elegant whenever they are on a heist), having both the attire that gives off the vibes of royalty and somewhat that of a stage magician. Regarding their intentions, they can usually differ. Some of them have a noble cause akin to a Robin Hood and some just act a bit cheeky with their tricks.
I usually think it's a neat display and think another reason why they try to stand out so much is because they want to go into a head to head confrontation with the security and other forces who are meaning to prevent a theft from happening. That's why some also send a notice in advance even....Could be that such people have like a special codex where they see it as an art form of performing their actions without acting in the shadows. But that's that subject.
Jack-Caster could be a great mascot for a game company. Or an ambassador mascot of sorts. He at least looks like someone who has a knack for inventing fun game ideas. It's definitely something to respect as it's likely quite difficult to think of the premise, rules and general aspects in game design for that all players have a balanced chance and an enjoyable time at such stational game ideas.
Shiny would think he looks rather cool in his attire. Shiny is pretty much a little fashion nut so when people wear fun costumes, the jolly Totodile will always admire that. Shiny also loves magic tricks, friendly pranks and showcases, so meeting Jack likely would be lots of fun for him and he'd very eager whenever the respectable artist is potentially calling for volunteers or assistants helping with demonstrating something spectacular. Shiny wouldn't really know much in regards of gambling. He isn't really the type who spends a lot of pocket change on trying to win prizes at the local arcade or would bet away any of his treasured belongings that his dudes shared with him.
I think the improvement of you drawing certain character aspects is very remarkable, Nozo. Things like drawing hands, giving the characters good proportions height-wise and balancing colors tend to be a complicated matter but I think your character design did come out really nice here. ^_^

Thanks for the a lot of favs and comments! I will reply what I can.
For Jackcaster, his costume combinations of mage, dealer and top hat magician. As description said, he’s a not just gambler, he’s magician. Under his robe and mantle, he hidden some tricks under them. Even on his sleeves.
His face kind of reminds me Cappy from Super Mario Odyssey. He does makes good mascots with game company, but I rather keep him as non-mascot, because I don’t want to be compared with other mascots, who looks like him.
He can teach Shiny a little bit of tips for winning the game. He can able to teach that totodile with simple trick for beginners. Speak of Pokémon, Jack would be Meowscarada, a cat Pokémon who’s good at magic tricks.
And thanks for the compliment for Jackcaster! ^^

As Shiny would say: "You're totodily welcome!" 🎈(~.=.o)
Yeah, as mentioned, I see him more of a stage magician rather than a mage based of his design. Shiny sure loves to play games but he does so more for fun, not to win. For someone who is a gambler and magician it likely would be easy to cheat in a game with Shiny not really noticing. So I'm not sure if Jaccaster would be all that interested in a game with Shiny unless for the purpose of showing a trick. At least Shiny is a great support and cheerful audience. =3
Admittedly, I wouldn't know if there are board game companies with official mascots. I just suggested someone like him could work well with a company that is developing all kinds of analogue entertainment.
Oh, that's very kind of him. Shiny enjoys the pure joy that entertainment and shows can bring, so anything that he can learn to wow his dudes with, he'd happily try.
Meowscarada, I see. Hehe, they also make a nice appearance with their mask, cape and the seemingly floating flower bomb that they can perform tricks with.
