Production Status and Description:
The Enclave Cosmonaut serves as the backbone of the Enclave Defense fleet and is its most prominent vessel aside from the Praximus. The first phase of the design was used early in the Droid Wars and proved effective at both troop carrying aswell as bombardment and even now are used as such. It's far more modernized systems and weaponry allows it to challenge ships of larger size with ease and one was actually able to bring down three Imperial 2-class Star Destroyers above the planet of Outlaw single-handedly. Unlike its Phase-1 model, the Phase 2 comes equipped with a far more diverse array of firepower and swaps out the normal broadside for multipurpose Launchers which can be loaders with mass drivers if needed. The ship has a fast speed for its size and is very well armored and shielded due to its Misconite hull. The design is often praised by Captains and crew for its easy versatility and cheap maintenance needs and unlike the previous design which had numerous Engine malfunctions after the first few years of use, the Phase 2 is far more sturdy. The Cosmonaut was based off of Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers that the Enclave used early on in their multivariate travels.
