Went home for the weekend and took some good pictures of sunsets, the river, desert, mountains, landscapes, typical stuff for me as far as photography goes. Saw this sight and thought there wasn't a more perfect setting to display where I grew up. This my native part of the Green River Valley, Wyoming. If you've seen this area for yourself, most likely you're a passer-by or a traveler (in-state or out). If you've seen this area as a resident, then chances are good we know each other. Looking left-to-right, you see the blue-colored ridge called the Hogsback. In the center of the distance is the high desert plateaus that expand for hundreds of miles which I personally call "The Big Empty" that engulfs the valley entirely. then to the distant right, a cliff-face we call The Spur, which overlooks the small town of 394 which I grew up as a resident until I was 18. At the end of the road (slightly visible) Is the Green River. And all the greenery in the middle is the valley made up of mostly ranches and farms, lots of moose country, and cottonwood growths.
