Another "Eyes" piece, this time of my grandmother's other dog, a Blue-Merle Border collie/ sheltie. We never really knew what she was or how old she was, just that she was a breeding female rescued from a puppy mill. Once she came out of her shell, she was a wonderful dog who was always looking for another piece of Romaine lettuce to nom on. <3

A few years back, she was attacked by a Rottweiler and, though she survived the initial attack, declined greatly in the weeks afterward. I finished this about a week or so after she passed, which was about a month before E.T., my grandmother's other dog, passed as well. It was a rough year...
