Personality: Self-serving, curious, and very confident. His interests lie in expanding his understanding of the world around him, both mundane and paranatural. He is also very careful and calculating, playing things to his advantage and to his desires. He also is quite dominant, enjoying having fairly built individuals in his service.

Background: Thorn is a mystery, nobody knows who he is or where he came from. No records are tied to the name he uses on occasion, making him appear out of thin air. But he has quickly asserted himself as a presence that is both threat and ally to all sides of the law, yet mostly to one group in particular.

His fascination with the empowered individuals known as Bonded is a well-known fact, as Thorn would dearly love to study the interdimensional beings that reside within the Bonded hosts. To this end, he has made it his goal to collect them and place them into his servitude, as he does with other heroes and villains he has the chance to ensnare in his web. Those he can't persuade to join him are immediately met with hypnosis attempts as an alternative method.

What his end goal is, nobody knows. All that can be deduced is that he is simply a researcher looking for answers about the universe's mysteries, and he will do whatever he can to achieve his goal.
