Exhausted from his training, Toyokuni was caught off guard by Lumus’s sudden advance. Lumus rushed him, but Toyokuni was able to hold him back.
Or so he thought. Lumus had succeeded in shoving an arm into him. With one arm in Lumus had already taken control of Toyokuni’s body. He just needed to fully enter.
All Toyokuni was stare wide-eyed as Lumus entered him. The forest around him faded into nothing as a holy warmth filled him.
The large dog stood there alone and hunched over. Lumus’s warmth spread throughout his body. Then he straightened his back and smiled the same smile Lumus wore earlier.
