I felt like experimenting with the style I usually draw Nightmares in, along with playing with how Nightmares have this oily sheen about them. I might try to figure out a brush or gradient to make that particular coloring process easier, but for now, I'm happy with the result of this one. I feel like this Nightmare is also standing guard over something, so I might do something different with the background later.
