I've pondered for a while how a shapeshifter would tell a tall tale. I also played with the phenomenon of how pre-photography cultures would try to depict exotic animals. Have you ever seen a medieval drawing of an elephant??
A comic for the Apto April theme "Transformation." Initially, this was to feature the tanuki dad and (a likely younger version of) the son from last year's AA pic of the same theme, but I felt it had more of a wily fox energy.
