'Twasn't a bad start, to be honest. You set up the characters and their looks perfectly fine, and you gave a nice amount of background.
The only thing you were really missing as far as intro go were the characters', well, character, but that can always be filled in later in a story. Even if you don't intend to continue this one, nice work, yo.
