You do not often see Aardwolves in the furry fandom and I decide I just had to paint one. Aardwolves are often mistaken for striped hyenas as they do look very similar with markings.

The Aardwolf (Proteles cristatus) is a small insectivorous hyena, native to Eastern and Southern Africa. The name means "earth wolf" in Afrikaans. Unlike other hyenas, the aardwolf is a defenseless animal whose diet almost completely consists of termites and other insect larvae.
