A Princeling of the Desert Royalty of Sehlaria; Oswin is the 2nd-Born child of his Father's 3rd Wife. Far below the list of succession, he still manages to find the favor of his father who dotes on his upbringing. Despite this, Sultan Asakar's two other wives deem Oswin a threat to their own children's position for the throne. And so Oswin was sent to the world to serve as a Mercenary. Eventually formulating the Ironborn Company; comprising of Oswin, Magirou (Elven Archer-Enchanter) Aruhn Lioncrown (Dwarvern Champion) and eventually the Heroes Sebastian, Reina, Willow and Melody.

Skilled in horseback and knightly combat, Oswin adheres to the Sehlarian concept of honor. Applying the virtues of Generosity, Temperance and Justice in most situations he finds himself in, despite being a Mercenary by profession.
