With the cute request of her friend, Ashley slowly lifted her shirt up, reveling her huskie belly. With a slow gesture, her friend Mia placed her hand upon that round hill, her eyes gazing upwards at Ashley's disappointing gaze.
"Why do you hate this?" asked Mai.
With a small sigh, Ashley closed her eyes. "Its disgusting..."
"How is it?"
"Just look at it. Its big. I can never seem to get rid of it. My pants don’t really fit me anymore and I have to get longer shirts to cover it up..." She opened her eyes once again. "...I wish I could have a thin figure like yours."
Mai went silent for a while until her gaze fell back upon Ashley's stomach. Her hand slowly lifted up until only the tips of her fingers were touching. She motioned her fingers around Ashley's navel before looking into her eyes.
"You have no idea how cute it looks on you...I love it." she whispered.
Pudges are cute. I think they give off character to the person. In some ways out of many, that are a bit erotic. Many girls think that having any fat on their mid section is considered to be disgusting and unattractive. Those who were born with big bones tends to have a harder time with this since there is little to anything they can do about it. I know some girls who starve themselves to look thin, or taking pills or surgery. They go to a far extent just to look thin and attractive around the mid and upper torso area. Working at Starbucks, I see a lot of high school and young college girls ordering non-fat/decaf, sugar-free drinks with any non-fat pastry. I look at them as I give them their drink and think to myself "If they get any thinner, they will disappear."
When it comes to attracting guys, that’s another thing. Do many guys get turned off by pudge or huskie bellies on females? Is a hourglass figure the ideal body for all females? Do they just look for that? Do they just judge on body and not personality? Does one need to be super thin to be noticed? What about super thin and big breasted? What about huskie with larger breasts? Does the human body matter that much? Must the idea of having sex with that body the only thing that matters?
A lot of girls stress themselves out to make themselves look as appealing as models on Playboy or any other model magazine. Its the "idealist" female body in America, and the world.
You should ALWAYS be proud of your body's natural state. Big belly? So what. Small breasts? Big deal. You are you. Guys should be attracted by your personality, not by your breast size or stomach size or even body size.

SNiff..wow this is beautyful..Im pudgy myself and before that when i was younger i was thickly muscled cause i worked alot outside with heavy stuff..ither way i never had the "perfect" body..but despite this all ive allways seen myself as attractive and i offen wonder the same thing. I rember my frist time at a armrican (middle) school..I still rember my first thought "Whats wrong with thes girls? are they all sick?" cause back then i didnt understand the "must be thin" thing haveing been rased that thin ment weak or sick. story aside this is verry moveing. and i whole hearted agree. pugy is beautful
Love the message. I think one of my relationships fell through partly because I liked her little buddah belly (mucho soft, and fun to hug), while she hated it. She kept compairing herself to the models in my porn mags, and after awhile I think it just got to her. I liked her for her, but she was too hung up on looks.
I have to say I agree with ya. People shouldn't judge a person by their looks, but rather by their personality.
I'd hate to live with a girl who'd have the "perfect body", but whose personality was empty and cruel.
A little pudge on a girl only makes her stand out from the crowd, in a good way ^^

Thank.
You.
I'm short and petite, but my figure isn't. I used to think I was gross and unattractive because I never had anyone interested in me during high school.
Then I went to college and I met several, rather attractive guys who found my generous curves very appealing. The boys themselves were skinny as rails, not from starvation, but from natural bodytype. One in particular, was very fond of my many squishy bits and hand holds. He had been with many women and had a fondness for the more cuddly ones. There is definate truth in the phrase "more cushin' for the pushin' ".
I have recently started to diet, not becasue I want to be thinner (well, not totally for that reason anyway) but becasue of health reasons. I like having a Rubenesque figure, but the 'pudge' around the middle has got to go. I'll happily keep my boobs, butt, hips and thighs, but I want my smooth tummy back. 'Muffin tops' only look good on muffins, not in jeans. Once I drop back down to a size 16, I'll be very happy with myself.

ACTUALLY, funny enough.... YOU were one of the people I thought of first after seeing this piece myself!! O.O you and Raina. Basically a little pudge means a LOT of brains and a LOT more emotional content too. And just because one would lose some does not make them a lesser person (though there may be less of them around >_>;; heh...) (oh god that was horrible >_<) I'm sure you'll never come to look ghastly thin o.o but best of luck!
A saw a similar picture by somebody. Can't remember who did it for the life of me, but the message was that there was more appeal to a woman with curves who looks soft, cushy, and durable over a woman with the supermodel physique who is so thin looks like she'll snap at the first firm hug. I agree that many female models tend are often forced into situations where they feel that they have to starve or regurgitate just to keep working. It's just not worth it.
As for Playboy though, I'd like to mention that they seem to be more interested in natural women. Women who are beautiful, but natural. Tiffany Fallon is the only woman who comes to mind, but she has curves. She has a bit of pudge, too.
Women need a degree of body fat as it's vital to important function such as breast formation and ovulation. If fat levels drop too low, a women may lose the ability to do both and perhaps even not be able to get those functions back. This can be a problem for female athletes. Especially bodybuilders as they get extremely lean and dehydrated during competition.
I must admit that I have my own pudge issues, but that was because that I was lean and thin growing up and I could eat whatever I wanted. When I got less exercise, the pudge caught up with me. Most people around me usually say, "You're not fat." I'm not, but I'm uncomfortable with it so I'm trying to get rid of it.
But it's because of what I want to look like. Not because someone else does.
Everyone, sorry for the rant. ;)

Take a look at belly dancers. In many parts of the middle east that 'pudge' is considered attractive. Just shows that beauty standards are arbitrary and people should stop following them blindly.

The picture is adorable. And obviously a relationship should be founded on personality, but it also feels good to look attractive to that person as well. Pudge isnt a problem, and neither is a good firm/thin/or lean look. Its anorexics and the obese that are usually going to look unnattractive, unless theyre dealing with a fetishist.
Me and my fiancee both have some pudge, and are both working out and eating healthier to try and look better for the other.

I think that pudge is so sexy, and small breasts make the gal cute. I always think that girls should look how they want, and I just judge them by their personalities...but I must admit that I have a weakness for a gal with a nice full figure!!
And I agree completely, why should they literally kill themselves and turn to nothing but skin and bones just to appeal to the stereotype that women should be?! It's downright stupid and idiotic...though I think that society today is hypnotizing them to turn out like that. Commercials, TV, movies; they all revolve around "beautiful" women...kinda sad really!!

I do like a belly every now and then. People should not be stick-figure thin; look at classical artwork, even. "beautiful women" were portrayed with a soft, full figure. I'd rather have something to wrap my arms around, I'd rather have someone with some curves, than some twiggy freak whom you'd avoid even hugging for fear of breaking them in half.
There's always a lot of emotion and sensuality behind your images, I like it a lot. Don't get burned out, though...not everyone can appreciate the time and effort you put into your work.
And to be blatant; like I said before, I like your Sonic interpretations... and your occasional porn :P

skin a bones is just as unhealthy as being morbidly obese, belly with a little meat on it thats been toned or untoned is attractive, Personally I have a pudge, I dont exactly love it, but I dont fully hate it either, Id like to be smaller, but Not much smaller, if I lost all the body fat there Id be skin and bones and thats not healthy for anyone
ADORABLE!! <3
I, too, find that the girls with a little more content down here *pats gut* have a lot more content up here *pokes head* and in here *points heart-ward*. Yup. I don't want a skeleton for a mate, that's for sure, and though I'll NEVER be skinny, I wouldn't take the chance if I DID have it. Could afford to lose like, 50-100 pounds though >_> I'm a gods damned whale. Okay so maybe not that bad. But any worse, and I'll have to visit SeaWorld to find a mate -_-;

That's so beautiful. I have always felt the same way, and am utterly appalled by how much society (especially American society) pushes the "perfect figure" down the throats of young people. I tend to like girls with bodies that are "less-than-perfect" by society's "standards", because they tend to have a much more genuine personality and know who they are a lot more than those who keep trying to push themselves towards what society tells them to be. Be comfortable with who you are, inside and out!
Since preference keeps coming up in all these comments, though, I will add mine: I find girls with either short, more petite (but not bone-thin) bodies and a small bust, and girls about my height (5'8") with a bit of pudge on them and an ample (but not overwhelming!) chest to be the most aesthetically appealing... but any girl looks great to me, so long as they are happy and personable!

by the gods, I like some meat on my women, if I see a skinny woman I let them know to eat a bit cause I can't seem to see them. Seriously, the media is just rotting the young ones into making themselves feel miserable and thus lowering self esteem... I am just honest and when I see a nice looking girl, when she doesn't have makeup on that she looks prettier then with it. Seriously guys, try to compliment the pudgy gals and despise the bonies out there
Heh. Beautiful pic as always, and love the story that goes with it. I admit, I used to buy into that junk when I was younger. I though all women were pretty, but I didn't think of chubby women as truly sexy until I saw porn of one. =P Yes, I was that bad. But it helped me broaden my perspective a little ("lower my standards" just doesn't feel right here), and I do have to admit, chubby girls are sexy in their own right.
After all, they don't call 'em "love handles" for nothing, now do they? ^.~ Grab hold and go for a ride.
Hmm... maybe I should commission ya to draw for some of my stories... be interesting to see what you could come up with...

Hehe well after reading that I don't feel entirely bad about my chest size nor any little pudge i've noticed lately *it looks like it but I'm still underweight- didnt ask to be that either... Xp need to gain muscle or something to add 10 pounds or something)
A lot of guys I know are into the thin build with the big chest. Sure I've got the body for it somewhat, but my chest isn't exactly as big as most would like it to be Xp nor is my rear. About the only way I got the figure is by being wide-hipped. If it weren't for that I wouldn't have it. But I'm no hooters girl or porn star body that's for sure. I'm fine with how it is too because to be like them would just be so fake. Here let's go get implants to make our breasts bigger... I ask myself every time I see/hear that "Why do you need them bigger? Aren't they big enough?". Besides, people don't think about the bad side of the surgeries they undergo for a "better body"

Personally I see hourglass figure as something else, not super thin. I think of the 1920's in America where models were like the average woman, in that they were not twigs and definitely full bodied. They were curvy and luscious, wide hips and medium chests. With an hourglass figure pudge is ok it means your a real woman.
Hehe...I'm just going to speak for everyone here. The message you have given us is just perfect. I feel like some people myself, what with the overweight problem, and now that i think about it, I don't really care what people say anymore. You are what you are and nothing will change that.
