So, I want to preface that someone I know is going through a bit of a hard time... and they have said as such openly on discord.

I myself will not out them as that is not my place. If they want to comment further that is on them. I will not answer any questions regarding who is going through hard times or for what reason and will go so far as to delete such comments.

That being said, I was trying to cheer them up and for some reason a poem just wrote itself in my head... so I thought I'd take a moment to share it because anyone who's down on life or themselves can use some good vibes. ;3


Life comes and goes in its highs and lows,
But as you wade through the storm you'll find compassion take form.
Be while you're in dismay or find your life in disarray
Someone will lend a hand take them up and form a band.
Though do not forget when years pass and none fret,
For someday your friend shall need you to bend.
When you move to lend a hand, all will see where you stand.
Compassion is as compassion goes, all will see what no one knows.
So come again to laugh and play, so come again to tear and fray.
Such is the way of father time, such is the way we make it sublime.
So next you falter, make it a point that you stutter.
For as is known to very few, for many seem to think untrue,
When at a point you seem your weakest, is when you are truly at your strongest.
When color fades to black and the world collapses, for when troubles come in and take their taxes,
Remember who stood by through thin and thick, ahead of those who stood to trick.
Those who stood with you, those who all shall come and see you through,
They will stand with you once more, and see you through the dark moor.
Til' a time where death does claim, the bonds we share shall be our frame.
