Muir'Beinn was a geographically diverse nation, with high mountaintops and low grasslands. The farther west you went from the mountain range where the dragon overlords roosted in their mountain den, the dense forests gave way to coastal grasslands until one would view the grand cliffs where the land met sea. Standing on the edge of those cliffs and looking outward over the ocean, the many islands speckled across the horizon would catch the eye. Large and small, from sandy atolls to great enclosed coves, the diversity of island forms found in the Eislay Archipelago was astounding and hosted an absolute rich cornucopia of marine life.
For a long time, only the sailors of Port Wailingin braved the shallow and rocky seas. By necessity, since the Zar’Margulas Empire of the time quite deliberately did not provide any form of supplies to the small port and it needed to become self-sufficient. Then later, when the black dragon's Rakant's rampages destroyed all the other towns in the entire region besides Wailingin itself and the town that would later be called Vahina, the fish provided by the sea was the only way Wailingin survived. But soon the two towns grew in population, establishing a trade route between them through the people's great efforts and fearfully under the eyes of the two dragons that established themselves as the wardens of the territory. But they were not hassled beyond the occasional visit, and the demands of tribute from the dragons were reasonable. Mostly a meal here or there.
But as time went on, more towns were established. Trade strengthened. The demand for fish, for pearls, for seaweed, crabs, fine sand for glass grew and so the people of Wailingin ventured farther into the archipelago. Tentatively harvesting the bountiful resources the island chain provided, their confidence and familiarity grew with their navigation of the sea around the islands. Slowly, slowly signs of human habitation began to be established. Lighthouses were built to guide the larger boats and under the green dragon Takaani's careful instruction fisheries were established in suitable coves that created a natural nursery for sustainable fishing.
More and more of the archipelago's natural wonders were slowly discovered. An enormous, round island with a narrow entrance that opened up into an enormous geode that had served briefly as a base for a stray band of invading demons from across the sea. A series of islands that seemed to even move. Takaani had begun to take more of an interest into the island chain after these discoveries, and more adventures are to be had there.

Takaani and the description above is by her as well! This is another set piece within the nation of Muir'Beinn, residing on it's western coast and largely honed to perfection by the dragon Takaani. The storm dragon has a natural affinity to the coastal line, so many of it's settlements and territories are under her watchful gaze more so than Rakant.
