With me feeling a little bit better than I did recently, I have found the motivation to finish off a piece of fanart I have been working on - a piece of fanart for a British comic series that I have been getting back into recently and have ordered a new volume of from my local bookshop a bit ago - Tank Girl, drawn by some of the same people behind the band Gorillaz. :D

Tank Girl undertakes a series of missions for a big organization before making a serious mistake and being declared an outlaw for her sexual inclinations and substance abuse. The comic centres on her misadventures with many colourful characters like her boyfriend, Booga, a mutant kangaroo, Camp Koala, her sentient gay stuffed koala toy XD , Mr Precocious the Bilby, Stevie, an Aboriginal man who is TG's ex boyfriend, Sub Girl, a childhood friend of TG with a submarine, and Jet Girl, another friend who pilots a jet.

TG generally causes havoc and mayhem wherever she goes and just doesn't give a shit a lot of the time XD - there was one comic strip where she makes up a lie that a meteor is about to strike Earth on Booga's birthday so she could get her friends to get some chores done but then they get their revenge by dropping a giant papier Mache 'meteor' on her head, and another where they go on a wild dangerous adventure around the outback just to get beer. :D

The series is a load of fun, and I find the character Tank Girl herself to be pretty damn hilarious (in part because she reminds me a lot of my sister XD ) - and I am trying to find the film that came out in 1995 to watch at some point. :3
