At this point, I feel like I have a checklist of favorite animals that I've been trying to make sure I cross off. I've drawn a Porcupine, a few bats, a kangaroo, some anteaters, an elephant, etc. Time to cross "Rats" off that checklist.

This character has some exaggeration that reminds me of Digimon, especially Weregarurumon when he had art and models that were exaggerated. It brought to mind a kung-fu scene, so I wanted to draw this cool rat doing a kung-fu kick. It took me three tries to get a pose I was happy with. I tend to play it safe with poses, so I'm not good with dynamic ones.
