About the piece
'kay, seriously, this piece was a pain in the tush, but the results were well worth it. For some reason, Enaxn commissions make me want to experiment and try out new things. So, for this piece, I have finally accomplished how to do scales. Look at them! I drew in each and every individual scale by tablet, bit by bit. ;__; I'm so proud of them! After my failed attempt to draw them on my Demons Within image, the outcome of this piece is so satisfying.
The background I got to play around with bushes more and I think I'm getting much better at them. =] I also got to play around with moss for the first time and work on trees again - it's been a long time.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this piece despite my experimenting which ended up making the image take far longer than it ought to (besides dealing with having to do bits of it at a time due to work and school). LAWL. Sadly, I probably ended up making $0.30 an hour at the rate I was working at. ;__; *Slooow* I'm glad you luff it, =Enaxn ! and thanks again. ^^
(By the way, I think Schnee is absolutely adorable. <3 *In love with his colouration*)
