he is a blatant DOOM reference based on a scrapped Total Drama/Video Game Crossover fanfic i'd made in the past that involved a situation where Doomguy and Komasan from Yo-Kai Watch formed a strange friendship/sorta romance (after Doomguy got cajoled into the roster when he'd been hired to clean up the aftermath of a Grandmapocalypse on the island).
