Snarlfang the Warrior Yutyrannus
Snarlfang was a previously-wild Yutyrannus, though he was quite open and friendly, even to herbivores and other species. Unless threatened, of course.
But when he was only about 6, he was taken by humans. Not long after, he met and became good friends with another dino. Her name was Ferocina, a Carnotaurus who was also captured by these people. Because of their similar feelings towards the humans and what happened to them, they became good friends in no time at all. She gave him the nickname 'Snarl,' but only close friends, such as her, will he allow to call him that.
While Ferocina took a few years to escape, Snarl took his chance the second they gave him his armor. He threw them off his back, and struggled against their chains, before finding the strength to break them and get out of there. He took a few shots to the head, but was protected just barely by the Tyrannosaurus skull that fell onto his head as he made his escape. After he realized that he would have lost an eye had the skull not been on him, he decided to keep it, both as a souvenir, but also because he had no armor on his head prior to it.
Because of the humans, he became much tougher and a lot more sullen. He hardly ever smiled anymore, until he found Ferocina again, several years after he'd escaped. They rejoiced at finding each other again, both having taken advantage of the armor given to them both. They remain ultra-close friends to this day, and she helps him to try and be his previous self again, albeit progress has been slow but steady.
I love this guy so much. So I got inspired by some warrior dinosaur adopts I saw some months ago. And while I would've loved them, they were a bit too pricey for me, and also the armor was, while astonishing and beautiful, didn't quite match my liking, so I got the great idea for this guy.
His armor is subtle around most of his vital areas, being dark-colored metal plates that are extremely tough, the biggest test being an RPG, and they shrugged it off with little damage to it and little effect to him. His bone-armor is much tougher, thanks to parts the humans added to make them stronger.
The plates on his legs and arms are more like metal socks, covering all of it up to his thighs/hips. Same thing is on his arms and over his chest region.
