This scavenger crab makes itself home along tectonic regions.
It's shell has a layer of basaltic materials, which reinforces it's shell. Their size varies, with a width ranging from 12 to 46 cm.
While it live in tectonic regions, it don't necessarily relies on molten materials, it can pretty much lives in any environment, as long as it's not cold. Since it's a scavenger, it pretty much eats anything, making it an exotic pet.
The basalt crab is edible, too. It's flavor is described to be... smoky, tender, a bit spicy.
Individuals that continuously ingested Burntilus stones would gradually mutates to it's "greater" variant
Assessment: Edible, may nib you but good to be kept a pet
