These are just samples of the simple pencil badges I've been doing at conventions, of late. Both of these are from Furfright this past year. The nice thing about doing these badges instead of color badges is that they're really affordable for everyone, and I can do a LOT more of them, so more people get slots.
I *am * taking pre-orders for these for MFF, but to anticipate y'all, I cannot take any for mail-out, or for completion after the con. My roster takes precedence over my free time when I'm not at conventions. However, if you ARE planning to attend MFF, and you want a cheap badge, feel free to send me a note or just a very inclusive paypal payment (rukis_croaxx@yahoo.com just like always). You'd need to include your character name and description in either, and you must pick up your badge at the con. I shall be in the Dealer's Room!

I know at least 5 artists who charge more for sketch badges. . . and I put a decent amount of time into these. But thank you for your opinion. I used to charge $10 for these, and was told repeatedly I was undercharging, and overworking myself. I'm trying the new price this year at MFF, if it doesn't go over well, I'll drop it a bit lower.
I charge $15 for my sketch badges. Granted, they are a bit more colorful, as I use blue sketch pencil (hoping to get more colors). But this price is reasonable. I think the only place where things look a little less in quality is the lettering. It's very blocky and not as smooth as the character drawings. Perhaps if those are a bit more polished?
