Fun picture that. Had it's toughness to it no doubt, as i do generally enjoy reflections and all but i rarely paint a view THROUGH them. So it was good fun figuring out how to balance all the elements and layers of that while keeping the character intact and whatnot.

Yeah, initially it was more suggestive of an actual place...but it never worked because all of a sudden there's the whole extra perspective you have to worry about and the angle we view it from makes it all kinds of weird. So yeah, the more abstract way just works better.
